In the opinion of Owen Hargreaves, Manchester United and Bayern Munich really had an easy group when they only had to face Copenhagen and Galatasaray. Hargreaves said that while Man Utd has a strong squad, Bayern is a candidate for the Champions League.
The former England midfielder shared:
“At first, when I saw Bayern’s draw and then Man United’s, I was thinking about the death panel. But the next two teams were Copenhagen and Galatasaray…”
Hargreaves puts his faith in Man Utd and Bayern.
“Bayern and Man United will be two bright candidates. I think Man United have a strong squad, but Bayern will be one of the strong contenders for the Champions League title this year.”
“To be fair, Tuchel now has a bit of power at Bayern and has a great squad.”
Of course, Man Utd cannot be subjective, because they are having an unimpressive start to the new season. Although they won 2 victories in the first 3 rounds, the performances on the field of teachers and coaches Erik Ten Hag were not really convincing.
