Replacing the ‘leading’ role of Robert Lewandowski at Bayern Munich, perhaps few would expect that Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting would be so explosive this season. After 15 appearances in all competitions, the 33-year-old striker has contributed a total of 11 goals and 2 assists for the Gray Lobster.
Lewandowski commented, it is still not possible to evaluate Choupo-Moting when the season is still long. Talking to Marca, when asked if he expected the former PSG star to become successful, the Polish striker said:
“If the team plays well, it will be easier for the strikers. He has scored many goals and is in good form now.”

Bayern practically lived without Lewy easily.
“I know Choupo-Moting well, he’s a good guy. I worked with him at Bayern. I know Choupo-Moting is going through a great period. I’m really glad he’s scored some goals, but the season is long. All I can say is good luck, and I hope he stays like this for the rest of the season.”
Notably, before Choupo-Moting’s impressive performance, recently a number of big teams are said to have put this striker in the sights. Typically in the case of Manchester United, the club is in urgent need of a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
