Lionel Messi’s contract expires at the end of the season and there is a lot of speculation about where he will play next season. Inter Miami or even Barcelona are all competing with each other to sign the 2022 World Cup champion.
Witnessing Messi’s current situation, Rodrigo De Paul took advantage of the opportunity to attract close friends. Specifically, on the Spanish radio program El Larguero, De Paul advised Messi to turn down several clubs to move to Atletico this summer:
“Let Messi come here. We will tell Correa to checko give Messi the number 10 shirt and find him a central apartment in Madrid.”
De Paul revealed his desire for Messi to join Atletico.
In addition, De Paul also talked about Joao Felix, the striker is playing on loan at Chelsea and could stick for a long time at Stamford Bridge if the Blues proceed to buy:
“Everybody wants a player like Joao Felix. He’s not here for footballing things, but at Atletico we love and want him.”
