Vinicius Junior is one of the players who often becomes the target of racism. After the incident in the match between Los Blancos and Valencia, the Brazilian star continued to be racially abused by a Sevilla fan during the encounter that took place last weekend.
However, according to Barcelona board of directors deputy spokesman Mikel Camps, this also comes partly from the former Flamengo prodigy’s excessive celebration.

Vinicius often experiences racism in La Liga.
Sharing in a recent interview with Marca, Camps clearly stated his opinion:
“It’s not racism, Vinicius deserved to be slapped for being a clown and a joker. Unnecessary antics or celebrations like falling off a bicycle in the middle of the field, I don’t know what the point is.”
The move from Mikel Camps will certainly cause a lot of controversy. This weekend, when Barcelona meets Real in La Liga, the super classic match will have more reasons to become even hotter.
