Vo Kim Ban is the talent of Soc Trang basketball. At the age of 13, his talent began to manifest with an outstanding height of 1.8 meters. After achieving success in many tournaments in his home country, Kim Ban received an invitation to join Saigon Heat Club to compete in the Vietnam professional basketball tournament (VBA) in the 2016 season.
This is also the time when the thrower born in 2000 left his family in Soc Trang to establish himself in Ho Chi Minh City. After many years of playing and growing up, Vo Kim Ban became one of the outstanding elements of Saigon Heat Club and helped this team win 3 consecutive championships (VBA 2019, 2020, 2021).

Thanks to his good performance at VBA, Vo Kim Ban was noticed by the head coach of the Vietnamese basketball team and given the opportunity to recruit. After many years, Kim Ban is now one of the familiar faces in the Vietnamese basketball team. Most recently in November 2022, Vo Kim Ban and the Vietnamese basketball representative competed at the FIBA Asia 2025 tournament but stopped in the first qualifying round.
