Manchester United’s Casemiro suffered a new injury when he returned to play in the match against Newcastle. Accordingly, he will miss the away trip to Fulham’s stadium in the Premier League this weekend.
The Brazilian midfielder captained Man United in the 3-0 loss to Newcastle, but was soon replaced at half-time to make way for summer signing Sofyan Amrabat.
Casemiro made his first appearance in Man Utd’s last 3 matches. Before that, he suffered an ankle injury when he joined the Brazilian national team last month.

The Brazilian midfielder continues to be injured.
Speaking after the defeat against Newcastle, Erik ten Hag confirmed why he decided to replace Casemiro just 45 minutes later.
“He got injured,” Ten Hag said in the post-match press conference. “Just before half-time, that’s why we had to take him off.”
When asked to estimate when Casemiro could return to play, Ten Hag added that the former Real Madrid star will definitely miss the match against Fulham.
