Saudi Arabia has been one of the hottest stories of the summer transfer window, with clubs in the Middle Eastern country recruiting some of the biggest names in world football. Karim Benzema, Neymar, N’Golo Kante, Sadio Mane and Riyad Mahrez are among the names who have moved from Europe to the Saudi Pro League, and the 2024 summer transfer window looks set to be the same.
The Arab bosses already have a number of targets on their list, with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah the top priority. Manchester United’s Casemiro and Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips are other players being targeted in the Premier League along with the two Tottenham Hotspur strikers.

Son is playing very well for the Roosters.
Writing in his Daily Briefing column for CaughtOffside, transfer expert Ben Jacobs called out the names Son Heung-min and Richarlison are viable targets for Saudi Arabian clubs in 2024.
“Tottenham’s son is still on the list. He has been on the radar since last summer. Son has always denied connections, but he probably won’t leave in 2023,” Jacobs said.
“Richarlison could also be a name to watch, but many Saudi Arabian clubs are worried about his injury. Al-Ettifaq is one of them.”
