Arsenal midfielder Leandro Trossard has issued a warning to his teammates ahead of the upcoming Champions League match against Sevilla. He emphasized the importance of controlling the match when marching to Sanchez Pijuan Stadium.
Arsenal’s recent 2-2 draw against Chelsea was considered lucky by many as they were only able to equalize in the final minutes. The previous Champions League debut also ended with a defeat against Lens, which further shows that victory in the upcoming match is almost a must.
Trossard is well aware of Sevilla’s strength and called on his teammates to stay focused during the match in Spain, while also stating his opinion on the upcoming match.
Trossard gave tips to his teammates
He told Standard Sport:
“We always want a good result. We want to win every match. That’s our approach. That’s also what we’ll do when we play Sevilla and make sure we’re ready.
This is a tough place to bring home 3 points. I think we need to make sure that we can achieve our goals from the first minute.
If we can control the match, I’m sure we can win. If not, we will give them a chance.”
