Pierre Emile Hojbjerg has not been used by coach Ange Postecoglou since he took over the Roosters. This sparked rumors that midfielder Hojbjerg will leave Tottenham in January.
However, the player himself confirmed that he will not leave Tottenham. Previously, Hojbjerg’s lawyer, Lars Halgreen, shared on Monday that Hojbjerg will not leave this month.
“When lawyers say that, I think we have to listen! So I can confirm that,” Hojbjerg said.
“I definitely feel like I can help the team. The important thing is that we are playing for something. I always said before like now, what drives me is the purpose of fighting for something and I definitely feels that Tottenham are fighting for something,” Hojbjerg added.
Tottenham are currently eight points behind leaders Liverpool and must travel to Everton on Saturday. The Roosters are in good form, losing only 1 match in the last 5 matches and the realistic goal for them is probably a place in the Champions League.
