However, their plan is not yet complete. Many sources say that Spurs want to promote negotiations to recruit Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher. They believe that this deal is completely feasible because the Blues have just added Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia to the squad.

Negotiations have not progressed as Spurs have not really come close to selling Hojbjerg to Atletico Madrid. Chelsea are delighted to rely on Conor.”
However, in fact, even if Tottenham successfully sold Hojbjerg, maybe Chelsea still refuses to sell Gallagher.

Coach Pochettino has let the young English star start all 4 matches in the Premier League. This is an understandable decision because Lavia is still not ready for her debut. However, that is only part of the problem, because Gallagher personally has also asserted himself with the Blues captain.

Will Gallagher take the starting spot in one of Chelsea’s blockbusters?
Remember that Chelsea spent more than 62 million euros (according to Transfermarkt) to get the Southampton star’s signature. Therefore, it will not be easy for them to let Lavia sit out.
The 19-year-old player showed impressive performances last season, promising to become the perfect piece to create a quality midfield trio with two other blockbusters, Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez.
