This defeat has created a bad start to the new season for Man United, they are languishing in the middle of the Premier League table and are about to have a tough test against Bayern and Harry Kane in C1.
Maguire is expected to play against Bayern.
Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez were both in poor form against The Seagulls and were said to have argued in the dressing room after the match.
Regardless of the veracity of that information, former Chelsea star Andy Townsend believes Ten Hag should recall Maguire: “At the weekend, Man United played terribly at the back, didn’t they? Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof are who I call the No. 2 midfielder.”
