Arsenal’s hopes of winning the title seem to have been dashed after a 3-0 defeat at Brighton last week. They will now begin a plan to purge and upgrade the squad to aim for a more successful season.
Arsenal is expected to bid farewell to many stars in the upcoming summer transfer window. According to sources from The Times, names like Granit Xhaka, Emile Smith Rowe, Folarin Balogun and Rob Holding are expected to leave.

Rice is Arsenal’s top target.
They will therefore add a significant source of funding (£100m) to the £200m investment expected to be approved by the club’s upper management in the coming period.
The newspaper added that, with the above money, Arsenal gave the “green light” to Mikel Arteta to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo. They think, The Gunners will spend about 170 million pounds to own these two names.
In addition, they are also targeting a striker and two more defenders to complete the summer transfer plan of 2023.
