Man United’s signing of Marouane Fellaini in 2013 was the beginning of David Moyes’s failed era. The Belgian was a panic deal for the Reds and was the only signing that summer.
Fellaini became the first player to be sold by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from Man United, in January 2019, when the Norwegian was still an interim manager.
After a long time with Shandong Taishan in China, Fellaini has now decided to leave. He shared: “At the end of this season, after 5 years, I will say goodbye to a great club like Shandong Taishan FC.
As I always do, I will give everything I have to try to win another title this season.”
The Chinese Super League has now gone through 24 rounds in a 30-match campaign, with the last game coming in November.
According to Transfermarkt, Fellaini’s contract expires in December 2025but Shandong Taishan FC will grant the 35-year-old midfielder’s wishes and let him leave.
