After this sad result, Nguyen Thanh Dat – defender with Nha Trang Dolphins club who reached the final of VBA 2022, wrote a letter to his teammates. “PK-KQ is a professionally trained team, 12 athletes have competed in VBA, some members have also played for the national team at the SEA Games. And Hidden Dragons are brothers who have worked and have never practiced together, so it is normal to lose. Hidden Dragons scored over 60 points with such a strong team, so it should be viewed more positively,” Thanh Dat confided.
Besides, the thrower born in 1989 also did not forget to encourage the spirit of the comrades. “Do not be discouraged and sad. Stay strong, brothers. Lose to know what you need to improve. It’s nice to be able to play football. When people get old, what people remember is not the result but the eating together, iced tea after each match. Keep going up,” Dat “Doc” shared.

At this basketball festival, Thanh Dat had the first time since 2016 with his two brothers, Nguyen Phu Hoang and Nguyen Thinh Hung, wearing the Hidden Dragons shirt. The amateur team established in 2005 is currently in Group A with PK-KQ teams, Hanoi basketball team, Scorpius Club and Dwarf Club. The HBC 2022 tournament started on September 21 at Thanh Tri Gymnasium and is expected to end on October 2.
