In Beth Tucker’s opinion, Alexis Sanchez is really a poor signing for Manchester United, but if it comes to the Glazer Family’s worst transfer deal, it has to be Angel Di Maria.
The British journalist commented:
“He wears the number 7 shirt and not only is he not good enough on the field, but he is also completely disrespectful to the club in many interviews.”
Di Maria caused great disappointment at Old Trafford.
“To me, That will probably be Di Maria (the worst contract under the Glazer family). Alexis Sanchez was also very, very poor, but it was an exchange deal. We didn’t exactly pay a huge fee for Sanchez, even though we paid him a huge salary, and he couldn’t meet the demands.”
“But if I had to talk about the worst contract of the Glazers, I would choose Di Maria, just because I had high hopes for him to shine. Ultimately, frustration doesn’t just happen on the field but off the field as well.”
