Like Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba joined Major League Soccer and Inter Miami this summer. He still hasn’t stopped dreaming about creating a miniature Barcelona in the heart of America.
Before Saturday night’s match against Charlotte, Jordi Alba announced that he wanted Luis Suarez to sign with Inter Miami in an article reported by Mundo Deportivo:
“I always said that I wanted to play with the best and for me, Luis is a great player. I had the opportunity to share many moments with him on and off the field. He is a person my wonderful friend.
I want him to come hereand that will definitely help us a lot,” said the Spanish defender.
Despite many rumors about a possible departure last summer, Luis Suarez is still a player of Brazilian club Grêmio. However, the Uruguayan still left open the possibility of leaving Brazil and joining MLS to reunite with his former teammates. If that comes true, he will reunite his former teammate and close friend Lionel Messi to become a formidable duo for all opponents.
Suarez’s contract will end in December this year. Since arriving in the Brazilian championship in January 2023, the Uruguayan striker has played 29 matches, scored a total of 16 goals and had 9 assists.
