The 19-year-old’s current contract runs until 2024 and it is reported that the two sides are discussing an extension. When speaking to Que t’hi jugues, Balde said that although the future is unclear, he wants to stay at Camp Nou.
“Right now I leave everything to my agent. My intention is to always be here, but what might happen in the future I don’t know. The truth is that things move quickly, even though things are going very well right now. I’m very young but I’m trying to learn.”
Balde insists he wants to stay at Barca.
“A year ago I was between Barcelona B and the first team, now I’m in the first team and I’ve played in the World Cup. It’s like a dream.”
“I don’t know what my future holds. Last season I didn’t have much time in the first team but I see it as a challenge and I want to stay here. There were offers but nothing serious. enough because I want to stay here.”
