Lionel Messi has just arrived in MLS to play for Inter Miami, but the Arab side is still determined to recruit the Argentine star. Currently, Messi is said to be still in the sights of the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF).
Despite missing out on signing El Pulga, several clubs in Saudi Arabia are eyeing a move to loan the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner. According to Al Bilad Daily, PIF is about to start negotiations with Miami about the possibility of loaning Messi for the 2023/24 season. Media revealed that negotiations between the teams could start in the next few days, with PIF’s plan to have the 36-year-old play for one of their four teams in the Arab league including Al Ahli, Al Hilal, Al Nassr and Al Ittihad.

Messi is still of interest to the Arab side.
In the event that the deal comes to fruition and Messi chooses Al Nassr, it’s obviously explosive. Messi working side by side with Cristiano Ronaldo will shake the football world in the context that both are entering the final stages of their careers.
Arab clubs spent more than 462 million pounds in the 2023 summer market, with this number especially increasing dramatically due to the 77 million pound transfer of Neymar, the star from PSG to Al Hilal.
