Manchester United are pushing ahead with plans to add staff in this summer transfer window. After Mason Mount, they are expected to expedite the process of recruiting Andre Onana from Inter Milan. In addition, coach Erik ten Hag is also considering a plan to upgrade the public goods with a new contract.
However, with a limited budget, the Dutch strategist needs to carry out the skillful liquidation of players to find more funding.
According to sources from The Independent, Ten Hag has blacklisted four names including Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho, Fred and Scott McTominay. He wants to sell these stars in the next two weeks, because they are no longer in the plan.
The aforementioned quartet were unable to secure a regular starting spot during Ten Hag’s first season at the club. Sancho played the most last season in this group, starting 21 of 26 Premier League appearances, giving him more minutes to play than Fred.
Although the Brazilian has 35 appearances in the top flight, he has only made 12 starts. McTominay started 10 of 24 Premier League games, while Maguire started eight times, coming on as a substitute for eight more.
