Buddy Hield Becomes NBA’s Fastest 3-Pointer
After the first challenge from the midfield circle to start the game, the Cleveland Cavaliers player inadvertently created an assist for his opponent with a slightly overpowered toss into the home field. Taking advantage of his good position, Buddy Hield won the ball and immediately turned towards the basket to make a decisive 3-pointer.
Buddy Hield took just 3 seconds to score and put the Indiana Pacers ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers 3-0.
According to ESPN’s statistics, Buddy Hield’s goal is the fastest 3-pointer in NBA tournament history. Before that, this record holder was Reggie Miller, when he took just 4 seconds to score for the Indiana Pacers in a game in 2000.
