Jose Mourinho is having a conflict with Rick Karsdorp. Mourinho said that Karsdorp had “betrayed his teammates” and publicly criticized the Dutch player for “poor attitude”. The Dutchman has since been left out of the AS Roma squad and Mourinho spoke of Karsdorp looking for a new club in January.
The denunciation statement of the Portuguese military leader caused a stir in public opinion, thereby forcing the association of professional football players FIFPRO into action. Specifically, this association criticized the former Chelsea captain:
“FIFPRO strongly condemns AS Roma’s treatment of Rick Karsdorpwho in recent weeks has been the victim of an alleged campaign.”
Mourinho was criticized for accusing Karsdorp.
