TuttoJuve believes that West Ham ‘ready to offer’ £35 million for Manuel Locatelli. However, Juventus hopes to tie down Locatelli with a new deal. Previously, AC Milan, Sassuolo and even Brighton under coach Roberto de Zerbi tried to “woo” the midfielder but failed.
“The possibility of leaving was never real. He always wanted to stay at Juventus and never considered other teams,” Locatelli’s agent, Stefano Castelnovo, told Tuttosport.
“Both sides want to continue together. Then, when the time is right, we will try to complete this (a new contract),” Castelnovo added.
In the past, Locatelli turned down Arsenal to join Juventus. At this time, the Old Lady was experiencing financial difficulties. Therefore, it will not be surprising if they push away some pillars.
