Real Madrid is still looking for a new striker to fill the void of Karim Benzema. The La Liga giants have their eyes on Kylian Mbappe, but the deal has not yet been finalized even when it was reported that the French striker committed to coming to the Bernabeu in the summer.
In fact, Mbappe also reached an agreement to join Real last summer, but after all, he decided to renew with Paris Saint-Germain.

Haaland is in Real’s sights.
Sources from AS said that instead of continuing to wait for Mbappe, Real wants to focus on the Erling Haaland deal. The Norwegian star shined in his first season at Man City, making an important contribution to helping the blue half of Manchester win a historic treble.
Haaland is still showing impressive form in the current season and that gives Real even more reason to be determined to recruit him.
AS revealed, Real plans to spend 174 million pounds to activate Haaland’s contract release clause. It is known that in the contract between the former Dortmund star and Man City, this clause will be activated next summer.
