Sheikh Jassim withdrew his offer to buy Man Utd. The Qatari billionaire offered about 5.2 billion pounds for 100% of Man United’s shares, as well as promising to invest an additional 1.5 billion pounds to develop the team.
In addition to a full buyback, Sheikh Jassim promised to clear debt and upgrade Old Trafford or build a completely new stadium. In contrast, Jim Ratcliffe plans to buy 25% of Man United’s shares for about 1.4 billion pounds.

Potter can replace Ten Hag.
And in case he holds a stake in Man United, Jim Ratcliffe is said to be ready to change the leadership bench. If Man Utd’s situation does not improve under Erik ten Hag, The British billionaire can completely appoint Graham Potter instead.
While he was hailed by Pep Guardiola as one of the best coaches in November 2022 for doing a good job at Brighton, Potter failed to inspire Chelsea during his eight months at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues lost 11 of 31 games under Potter’s management and he left with the lowest average points per game of any manager in Chelsea’s history.
