Borussia Dortmund’s 19-year-old striker Youssoufa Moukoko is continuing his excellent scoring form for the German U-21 team and hopes to be called up to the EURO 2024 squad led by coach Julian Nagelsmann.
In the 4-1 victory of the German U21 team against Estonia U21, Moukoko scored his 12th goal in 10 matches in the 2025 European U21 Championship qualifying round. Showing the talent that this young striker possesses makes many Dortmund fans want to see him regularly appear on the field.

In a recent interview, Moukoko hopes to maintain her form and possibly be called up by coach Nagelsmann for the team to participate in EURO 2024: “Anyone who has ever played for the national team, participating in the EURO is always on their mind. Scoring goals at the national level helps me maintain my form and I am happy every time I play for the German team.”
This season, the 19-year-old striker has never played in Dortmund’s starting lineup under coach Edin Terzic, he only has 1 goal in 7 matches appearing from the bench. However, if Moukoko maintains his current scoring form, he may be able to play more in the second half of this season, when striker Sebastien Haller will have to attend the African International Cup with the team.
