In the match last night, Mane helped Senegal take the lead in the 12th minute on the penalty spot.
Just 10 minutes later, he received a pass from Nampalys Mendy and doubled the lead.
Benin’s determination was dealt a blow when Sessi D’Almeida was sent off in the 51st minute for dangerously entering the ball with Mane. Quickly after that, Mane successfully scored another penalty to make it 3-1.
In the 88th minute Benin had an honorable goal to set the score 3-1 for the match.
It was the former Southampton man’s first hat-trick for Senegal, since he made his debut in 2012.
Thereby, he officially became the greatest striker in the history of this country with 32 goals for the national team.
Mane is the pride of Senegalese football.
However, he recently continued to show his intention to leave Liverpool by saying “if 60-70% of Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool, I will do what they want.”
