Sergino Dest is currently shining under PSV Eindhoven after leaving Barcelona on loan. He admitted that he was really grateful to be wearing the Blaugrana shirt, and had notable shares surrounding Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
The American defender shared:
“It’s special to play for Barcelona, because my great idol Ronaldinho also played for this club. I really enjoyed that time, but later on a little less. But, I’m grateful to have been able to play at a club with such history.”
“I played football with Messi for a year. Subconsciously you also learn many things from Messi, just by watching him play. Although whether you can repeat those things or not is a question other.”
“Kylian Mbappe is truly the toughest opponent I have ever met, although I don’t think I played that badly, especially in the first half of that match. You learn a lot from a confrontation like that. That’s why I want to return to the top as quickly as possible.”
