Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lee Kang-in is at the highest level of confidence. After winning the gold medal at the 2023 Asian Games with Korea, he returned to the French capital club and continued to shine.
It didn’t take long for his excellent form at national team level to transfer to the club shirt. Lee entered the match against AC Milan and scored the third goal in a 3-0 UEFA Champions League win over the Serie A side on Wednesday at Parc des Princes.
The 22-year-old received Warren Zaïre-Emery’s pass and put the ball into the net. Lee spoke to reporters after the match and spread his excitement for his first goal for PSG.
Lee told RMC Sport: “I’m very happy for the whole team and for me, this victory is very important for us. We were aggressive in every duel. We moved the ball well. I’m very happy that I was able to contribute to the team’s victory. That’s what I try to do every minute on the field. I will work hard on the training field to continue.”
PSG and Lee will look to capitalize on this psychological momentum when the team travels to San Siro for their Round 4 tie on November 7. If the Ligue 1 side can replicate their performance, they could won tickets to the knockout round.
