Just a few hours after Manchester City were held to a draw by Everton, Arsenal quickly seized the opportunity to increase the gap with the defending champion to 7 points with a jubilant 4-2 victory over Brighton.
Mikel Arteta’s army continues to maintain impressive form. They easily led the opponent 3-0 after just over 46 minutes. Although Brighton had rekindled the opportunity with Mitoma’s equalizer, Gabriel Martinelli once again strengthened the Gunners’ advantage with a strike to make it 4-1 after a great assist from captain Martin Odegaard.

Arsenal’s good couple.
With a big difference, Evan Ferguson taking advantage of William Saliba’s mistake does not mean much to the home team.
Sharing at the press conference after the match, Bukayo Saka – who scored the opening goal for Arsenal, praised Martin Odegaard. The British star believes that it is the silent contributions from the 24-year-old midfielder that are an important factor in helping them to extend their unbeaten run.
“Our captain [ Martin Odegaard ] are in great form,” said Saka.
“He contributed a lot. He was our conductor. Odegaard played really well. He cheered a lot on the pitch.“
