According to Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool is ready to part ways with Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez just one year after he arrived at Anfield. The Anfield team intends to make an exchange with Atletico for the signature of Joao Felix, who is going through a difficult time at Madrid.
However, Felix’s side has no intention of returning to the Premier League. Accordingly, the Portuguese player wanted to land at Barca and was finally satisfied.

Liverpool once planned to exchange Nunez for Felix.
For Liverpool, the unsuccessful exchange brought a positive, as Nunez gradually showed progress. The Uruguayan striker shone brightly when he scored twice in the second half, helping Liverpool come upstream against Newcastle.
In the latest victory against Fulham, besides Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah, Nunez was another bright spot in attack. The Uruguayan striker was the author of the assist that helped Salah set the score 3-0 for The Kop.
“Really good combination. I like the lineup today. I’m really happy for Nunez. Curtis Jones is back from injury. The boys fought hard. This was a top match. It was real.” It’s great,” coach Jurgen Klopp praised the good connection between Salah and Nunez.
