Cristiano Ronaldo has finally chosen his next destination. Accordingly, he officially joined Al Nassr, an Arab club in Asia.
This means that the 37-year-old striker closes the journey of playing at the top to go to Asia to retire and earn huge money. It is known that Al Nassr pays CR7 a salary of 200 million euros/year.

Ronaldo almost went to MLS to wear Sporting Kansas City instead of Al Nassr.
Al Nassr is the club that won Ronaldo’s signature but they almost finished second in this race. Specifically, Sporting Kansas City President Rob Heineman retweeted a post from The Blue Testament, which confirmed that MLS team has been negotiating with Ronaldo for weeks to reach an agreement. The Portuguese star held several meetings with Sporting KC before making a final decision.
The lure of Ronaldo to the US would represent a major coup for the MLS, as reports earlier this year shared David Beckham’s Inter Miami trying to pursue Lionel Messi from PSG. However, that ambition has not been realized.
