On the last day of the transfer window, Joao Palhinha is ready to join Bayern Munich. However, this deal fell through when Fulham could not find a replacement.
McTominay does not want to go to Fulham on transfer deadline day.
Previously, Fulham had targeted Man Utd’s Scott McTominay. But journalist Fabrizio Romano thinks things never go smoothly. McTominay did not want to move to Craven Cottage and therefore Fulham did not get a midfield addition.
“As far as I know, Fulham has also spoken to the Manchester United midfielder, but he said no to Fulham. So, as a result, the Palhinha deal collapsed because Fulham couldn’t find a replacement,” Romano told CaughtOffside.
With Man Utd signing midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, McTominay will find it difficult to play in the near future. Amrabat was brought in by the Red Devils on the last day of the transfer window. The Moroccan midfielder landed at Old Trafford on loan from Fiorentina, including a buyout clause for about 17 million pounds.
