Real Madrid showed their Champions League class by quickly qualifying for the round of 16 after a comfortable 3-0 win over Braga. Brahim Diaz, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo helped Real win.
Vinicius and Rodrygo have been criticized for their form this season and both responded with classy finishes after Diaz opened the scoring. Coach Carlo Ancelotti was patient with the duo up front and both responded to him with goals that pleased Santiago Bernabeu.

Rodrygo scored Madrid’s third goal with a delicate finish and he ran to hug Carlo Ancelotti on the touchline to celebrate. Rodrygo said: “The hug was to thank him. We have to judge people when they are not in good times, then you will see who they really are.”
“I was not in a good moment, the coach was always with me, always supported me, said good things. I had to score and go and thank him.”
