Borussia Dortmund are being given an effort to extend the contract of Marco Reus. However, things are now at an impasse.
A few days ago, BILD confirmed that they wanted to sign a new agreement with the German star. Dortmund also wants the captain to cut his salary in half.
In the latest sharing move, a source from SPORT1 confirmed Reus expects a 2-year contract extension. On the other hand, Sebastian Kehl is said to be placing an offer to sign for another year.

Reus expressed his sincere intention to continue sticking with Dortmund.
Notably, Reus will no longer receive a salary of 12 million euros as at present. Dortmund is now revealed to want Reus to take a third pay cut and that contract must be related to performance.
Thus, the former Borussia Monchengladbach player clearly expressed his desire to stay at Signal Iduna Park. England and Dortmund have not yet been able to agree on the negotiation, but the negotiation process has the opportunity to be removed in the near future.
European clubs that want to recruit Reus like Manchester United are unlikely to change the will of the 34-year-old striker.
