After losing to Valencia, Real Madrid is coming back strong. This week, the White Vultures marched to Andalusia to face Sevilla in round 37. They did not have the strongest force when Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior were both unregistered.
The home team started better. They soon got the score in the 3rd minute of Rafa Mir. It was a messy situation in front of goal.

Rodrygo shines brightly.
However, Real did not take long to equalize the score. In the 29th minute, Rodrygo Goes had a beautiful free-kick that made goalkeeper Yassine Bounou just stand there and watch the ball fly into the net.
After the break, the two teams in turn had many scoring opportunities, but Real took advantage of them better. In the 69th minute, Rodrygo spoke again with a skillful handling to set a 2-1 victory for Real.
These 3 points help Real strengthen the 2nd position in the La Liga table. They are 4 points ahead of Atletico Madrid despite playing 1 more game. Meanwhile, Sevilla had a bad run before the Europa League final against AS Roma at 2am on 1/6 (Vietnam time).
Result: Sevilla 1-2 Real Madrid
