According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid considers a plan to recruit Roberto Firmino this summer. Los Blancos see the Brazilian striker as a plan B for Karim Benzema’s position.
The Spanish team has conducted internal discussions about Firmino. Real Madrid have not yet sent an official offer to the 31-year-old striker. According to Romano, Los Blancos have up to 5 different transfer options for the number 9 position, including Firmino.
Firmino officially left Liverpool after the 2022/2023 season ended. He won many noble titles after 8 years with the Anfield team: Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup….
Real Madrid sparks Firmino.
Going back in time, Firmino landed at Anfield from Hoffenheim in 2015. The £29 million signature gradually confirmed its value under Jurgen Klopp’s reign. The German captain appreciated the pupil. Klopp views Firmino as one of the best virtual nines in the world.
Besides Firmino, three other faces left Liverpool this summer, including: James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita. That signals a personnel revolution will take place at the Anfield team.
