National Student Basketball Tournament 2022 0 NUC gathers 100 university teams to participate in the qualifying round
The final round of the National University Championship Basketball 2022 – National University Championship Basketball (NUC) will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from November 12 to 17, by the Department of Physical Education – Ministry of Education and Training, Joint Stock Company. Max Sports Entertainment (MSE) and Viet Digital Content and Commerce Joint Stock Company (Vietcontent) are organized under a long-term agreement.
Right in the first time of organization, in line with the slogan of the “Pioneering Breakthrough” tournament, NUC 2022 was kicked off with a record number of 100 basketball teams competing in the third qualifying round of the North – Central – South region. in a passionate atmosphere, good match quality and methodical organization and management.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh De – Director, Department of Physical Education shared: “Approving the cooperation agreement to develop student basketball for the period 2022 – 2026 between the Ministry of Education and Training and MSE and Vietcontent, student basketball. is oriented for long-term development, constantly expanding in scale, professionalism and pervasiveness every year.
From annual tournaments like NUC, the model of student basketball club at university will be invested and developed. Students will have the opportunity to experience the professional sports environment through exchange and competition activities with professional teams, regional and international student teams.

After nearly 3 weeks of organizing the NUC 2022 qualifiers from October 19 to November 7, the best 8 men’s teams and 6 best women’s teams in the North – Central – South regions were found. In the men’s event, 8 teams participated in turn: University of Transport, National Economics University, Hanoi University of Sports and Education, University of Danang, Danang University of Sports and Sports, RMIT University, Hoa Sen University and the University. Van Lang.
NUC 2022 will take place from 12 to 17.11.2022
In the women’s event, 6 teams participated: Hanoi National University of Education, Foreign Trade University, University of Danang, International University – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Hoa Sen University and Ton Duc Thang University. In particular, the University of Danang and Hoa Sen University are two schools with both men’s and women’s teams participating in the final round of NUC 2022.
According to the plan, NUC 2022 will start from November 12-17 at the National University of Ho Chi Minh City in Linh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Thu Duc (HCMC). All matches of the national final round of NUC 2022 will be livestreamed live on the tournament fanpage and the Football TV and Youtube fanpage.
