Ratcliffe and his company INEOS are expected to run football operations at Old Trafford once the deal to buy a 25% stake in the club is completed.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe was plans to fire coach Erik ten Hag and replace him with Roberto De Zerbi of Brighton, according to sources from Football Insider. There have been rumors that the decision to sack Ten Hag has been made provisional, regardless of upcoming results, including Saturday’s away game at Fulham.

Ten Hag has no place in Ratcliffe’s collection.
The Dutch teacher had a promising first season at Man Utd and won the League Cup. But with his poor performance, he is currently under great pressure from fans. While the current owners are indeed willing to keep Ten Hag around, Ratcliffe and INEOS have their own plans.
Football Insider also revealed on November 1 that Man Utd would have to pay more than 15 million pounds if they fired the former Ajax coach this season.
Man Utd is eighth in the Premier League, winning 5 and losing 5 of the opening 10 matches. The Red Devils’ hopes of progressing in the Champions League remain alive after defeating FC Copenhagen 1-0 at Old Trafford on October 24.
