Rare start
One of Chelsea’s main problems is that they cannot impose their style of play on their opponents. Before the encounter with Bournemouth, the Blues regularly conceded a goal in the majority of encounters this season.

Havertz opened the scoring for Chelsea.
It was the slow start of the match that made Graham Potter and his students lose, and then brought the game back to face many difficulties. The British strategist seems to have realized this and began to deploy the game immediately after the opening whistle.
With the initiative, Chelsea soon opened the scoring thanks to Kai Havertz and just a few minutes later, they continued to double the gap after a goal from Mason Mount.
Mason Mount’s Values
This season, Mount’s position in the Chelsea squad is often questioned. The young talent that matured from the Chelsea academy lost his form compared to himself in the previous season.

Mason Mount is gradually regaining form.
However, Mount has partly regained the trust of fans with an impressive performance against Bournemouth. The English midfielder had the perfect position to pick up a pass from Kai Havertz, before unleashing a beautiful finish into the bottom corner.
It was Mount’s first goal at Stamford Bridge this season and that will likely give him even more motivation in the next leg.
Suspicious comeback
Reece James has missed the last six Premier League matches and the World Cup because of a knee injury, but that period of treatment has not affected the young English star’s form.

Reece James has a pretty impressive comeback.
James showed solidity in the right corridor, allowing Raheem Sterling to comfortably support the attack. However, the 23-year-old once again made the Blues fans worried with signs of a recurrence of the injury and had to leave the field at the beginning of the second half.
Impressive pitch
Although he has moved to Chelsea since the summer transfer window, until now Denis Zakaria has had the opportunity to play for the first time in the Premier League.
With his youth, ability to read situations and pass the ball well, the Swiss player has completed quite well the assigned task. In the context that N’Golo Kante has not been able to return, it is possible that Zakaria will be given more opportunities in the upcoming period.
Difficult for Bournemouth
The Cherries’ march to Stamford Bridge was an overwhelming challenge for Gary O’Neil and his students. This is their first time attending the Premier League since Bill Foley took the chair. So in front of a Chelsea hungry to win, Bournemouth completely lost the game right from the first minute.
The last defeat marked the 4th defeat in the last 5 matches of The Cherries in the Premier League. Hopefully they will find joy again in the upcoming encounter with Crystal Palace when playing at Vitality’s home ground.
