With Lionel Messi on his way to leave the Parc des Princes, PSG has begun planning to find a replacement for the Argentine superstar.
According to a source from Goal, the French representative is looking at midfielder Bernardo Silva as a top transfer target. The Man City star has long been open about his desire to leave the club in search of a new experience and the upcoming summer market could be the moment for him to fulfill his dream.
Silva is in the sights of PSG.
This is not the first time Silva has been rumored to join PSG. The attacking midfielder struck a deal with Ligue 1 representatives last summer. However, this deal could not come true due to financial problems as well as salary on the PSG side.
But in the event that Messi leaves, the barrier will be completely removed. Hence PSG can successfully own the former AS Monaco player. Silva currently has a contract until 2025 at Man City, so the Etihad team will still collect a large fee if they decide to sell him this summer.
