Messi remains in Argentina after their FIFA World Cup win in Qatar and won’t return until after PSG face Lens in early 2023.
Messi won the World Cup with Argentina, beating France team-mate Kylian Mbappe on penalties in the final. Mbappe has returned to training at the club early but Messi is still celebrating his victory at home.

Messi was given extra leave after winning the World Cup.
Speaking ahead of PSG’s clash with Strasbourg, Galtier said: “We take back players on a case-by-case basis, there are players who are eliminated very early, who have 10 or 12 days off and all They all came back on time.”
“There are people going further like Hakimi, who has achieved great success. I am thinking of Kylian and Leo. Hakimi and Kylian want to quickly get back to us in the team. Leo due to geography and victory, he will join us at the beginning of next year 10, 11 days.”
