In the near future, the Man Utd Board of Directors will consider the possibility of buying back 25% of the team’s shares from Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Initially, the Chairman of INEOS Group aimed to buy back 51% of the shares, but now the number is only 25%.

It is still possible that Qatari owners own Man Utd.
Everything is said to be approved by 12 senior figures in the Club’s Board of Directors. It cannot be ruled out that there will be shareholders who do not want Ratcliffe involved with Man Utd.
According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, there is still a chance for Sheikh Jassim to “turn over”.
Solhekol said: “For now, they tell us they are leaving the negotiating table and that’s it, but you cannot completely rule out a scenario, in which the Ratcliffe deal collapses and That creates an opportunity for Sheikh Jassim to get back on track.”
“There is no sign that that will happen at the moment, but Sheikh Jassim has the finances to buy Man Utd at what he believes is a high price,” Solhekol added.
