Club homepage Tottenham Hotspur announced the completion of the Brennan Johnson deal. Johnson joins the Roosters from Nottingham Forest. The Welsh international signed a 6-year contract, lasting until 2029.
Johnson will wear the number 22 shirt at Tottenham. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Roosters spent 47 million pounds to get Johnson’s signature.
Going back in time, Johnson joined the Nottingham Forest academy at the age of 8. Johnson progressed through each youth level before making his debut for the Nottingham first team against West Brom in August 2019.
In the 2020/2021 season, Johnson plays for the Lincoln City team on loan from Nottingham. A convincing performance helped Johnson make his debut for the Wales national team against the US in November 2020.

Returning to Nottingham, Johnson left a strong mark on the home team’s journey to win promotion to the Premier League 2022/2023. Johnson had a convincing performance in the Premier League, contributing 8 goals in 38 matches. He also scored two goals on Nottingham’s journey to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Johnson has appeared 20 times for Wales and is a member of coach Rob Page’s team attending the 2022 World Cup.
