A few hours ago, club home page Real Betis announced the completion of the recruitment of Sokratis Papastathopoulos in the form of free transfer. The Greek star is expected to help strengthen the Real Betis defense system.
Sokratis started his professional career playing for AEK Athens club. He made his debut in the National League and Champions League in the 2006/2007 season.
Sokratis has a rich career at the top level, having played for different teams such as: Genoa CFC, AC Milan, SV Werder Bremen, BV Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal FC and Olympiakos FC.
