The move to the League One club is a step up for the Droylsden-born striker, having spent the second half of last season in lower division Newport County.
Charlie McNeill is out on loan again.
McNeill made 15 appearances for the Welsh side, scoring 2 goals. That period added valuable experience to McNeill, after he and some of his teammates in The Red Devils U21 team won the FA Youth Cup 2022.
McNeill also made his debut for the Man United first team in the 2022/23 season, when Erik ten Hag replaced Tyrell Malacia in the Europa League home clash with Real Sociedad. He played 45 minutes in a winter friendly against Cadiz in Spain and more recently appeared as a substitute against Wrexham in San Diego.
With the ability to score great goals, McNeill is considered the leading promising striker of the young Man United training academy after Mason Greenwood.
