Liverpool have 2nd consecutive victory after the return of the Premier League. They just beat Leicester City 2-1 thanks to an own goal by Wout Faes. Jurgen Klopp’s army has narrowed the gap with the top 4 to only 2 points.
After the encounter at Anfield, Gary Neville praised Trent Alexander-Arnold before mentioning the importance of the England defender and Virgil van Dijk in defence. Specifically, the former Manchester United star said:

Neville mentioned Van Dijk and Arnold after Liverpool’s win over Leicester.
“I’ve been keeping my eyes on Van Dijk very closely. Tonight he made a positional error and that’s when Dewsbury-Hall headed the ball to find Harvey Barnes.”
“I want to say it’s great because sometimes we see players come out and don’t need to express how disappointed they are. Arnold and Van Dijk played well, it’s rare that we see that.”
Overcoming Leicester, Liverpool’s next opponent is Brentford away from home. This confrontation will take place at dawn on January 3, Vietnam time.
