Up to now, Manchester United have not been able to make a final decision on Mason Greenwood’s future. But sources from The Athletic confirm that they are considering letting the English striker leave on loan, and perhaps Greenwood’s potential landing has recently been revealed.
As revealed by journalist Samuel Luckhurst, Man Utd is currently negotiating with Atalanta about a shocking exchange. Specifically, the Red Devils want the services of Rasmus Hojlund and willing to let Greenwood leave in the opposite direction. However, only through a loan contract because they still do not want to sell the striker.
For its part, Atalanta is still keeping the asking price at around £60 million for Hojlund’s service, a figure that Man Utd is not willing to pay. Obviously, even if Greenwood is attached to this deal, Atalanta is not expected to lower the required fee because this is only a loan agreement.
