Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are the top-ranked players in Serie A at the 2023 Golden Ball as Lionel Messi wins his eighth title after leading Argentina to World Cup glory.
Osimhen won 8th place. He contributed to the Partenopei’s first Serie A championship in 33 years, winning the 2022-23 Serie A top scorer title with 26 goals and 4 assists.
Napoli is the only club in Serie A with a player in the top 10, along with Real Madrid (2), Paris Saint Germain (2) and Manchester City (5).
Osimhen had an explosive season with Kvaratskhelia.
Meanwhile, his teammate at Napoli, Kvaratskhelia is ranked 17th after 14 goals and 14 assists in Serie A and UEFA Champions League for Napoli. Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez ranked 20th.
Finishing ahead of Harry Kane and one place behind Karim Benzema, Georgian winger Kvaratskhelia attended the ceremony at the Theater du Chatelet and was interviewed by Italian media.
