Jurrien Timber was Erik Ten Hag’s top target last summer but the 21-year-old doesn’t want to leave Ajax. The reason is that Timber is afraid that wearing the Man Utd shirt will affect his ability to participate in the 2022 World Cup.
Recently, Timber confirmed he will leave Ajax and there is information that the Red Devils will restart the deal. This is entirely possible as Man Utd prepare to say goodbye to Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.

Man Utd target appeared at Wembley.
The latest, journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed: “This is the former game of Ten Hag, Jurrien Timber was at Wembley today to watch the FA Cup final between Man United and Man City.
Ajax turned down many of United’s approaches to Timber last summer. The current contract expires in 2025.”
Last month, Timber said: “You don’t know what next season will be. I also don’t know what it will be like next season, so I can’t say that I will stay at Ajax this summer.”
Last summer, failing to recruit Timber, Man Utd immediately signed Lisandro Martinez. This is a successful investment of the Red Devils.
