Osimhen has established his reputation as one of the best strikers in Serie A with his steady performances for Napoli this season. The 23-year-old is currently the league’s top scorer with nine goals in 11 appearances.
Totti said of the player: “The strongest striker in Serie A? In my opinion, Osimhen is that person. The first is because he scores, when he has the ball, he scores. And then he’s ready to play for the team too. He’s always in the right place at the right time.”
Osimhen is playing brilliantly for Osimhen this season.
The striker is helping Napoli compete for their first Scudetto since 1986. Luciano Spalletti’s side are eight points ahead of second-placed AC Milan.
It remains to be seen whether Osimhen will stay at Napoli beyond next summer with some of Europe’s top clubs circling him. Manchester United is a team that is closely following Osimhen in the context that they need a new striker to fill the void left by Ronaldo.
